Today is the first day of class for our university. The team met on Sunday for the first time as a group and had an excellent dinner afterwards. It seems like only yesterday that David Walker called and offered me the opportunity to be the next basketball coach of the Ragin Cajuns . The spring and summer came and went as our staff worked diligently to complete the recruiting class and schedule, speak at different clubs and organizations, and make sure our student/athletes were achieving in the classroom. The support from the people on campus, Lafayette, and the Acadiana area has been tremendous. The Ragin Cajun fans are passionate about their university and their basketball. Our staff embraces the past tradition and looks forward to the future.
